Alex Meacham Basketball Camp
Instructor: Alex Meacham
Camp snapshot: Former University of Cincinnati player and coach Alex Meacham will lead this camp with a focus on learning and improving fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Our goal is to have each child gain a better understanding of the game, as well as working on ball handling, footwork, defense, shooting, and passing.

Tumbling, Cheer and More

Go, Stingers, go! Children will learn dance, cheers, and tumbling from our own Cincinnati Ben-Gal Cheerleader alumni! All skill levels are welcome as we will have the opportunity to learn new skills or challenge the skills you already have! We will also learn some fun cheers and a routine that parents are invited to at the end of the week. Children can use these cheers and techniques as they cheer on their favorite sports teams or take them back to their own dance teams!

Camp snapshot: Campers will enjoy learning how to safely create YouTube videos. Activities will include filming, editing, creating thumbnails, and hosting all sorts of fun YouTube content. Students will learn internet safety when posting and will not share their last names or personal information.

Cartoon Capers

If your child loves a good mystery, whether it be from popular shows like Scooby and Gravity Falls or graphics novels like Dog Man and Spy School, then hop into the mystery machine and let's solve the case. A lot of this week will be centered around the famous characters in these popular stories and the qualities they possess that make them good detectives! This week will feature a special competition that will prove who the best mystery cartoon character is!

Cincy Ninja Kids

Swing, jump, climb, roll, fall, stabilize, kick, punch, smile, and repeat! These are the foundation for establishing functional skills for any young developing athlete. This onsite class packs elements of parkour, martial arts, yoga, and gymnastics into an exciting session that instills new disciplines while gaining confidence through strength and balance movements.

Game Show Masters

This … is … Jeopardy — Seven Hills version! This challenging week will be set up like a giant game show competition. Campers will play games like Family Feud, The Price is Right, Wipeout, Wheel of Fortune, and of course, Jeopardy. Trivia will be incorporated into the week as the children in this camp will be competing to earn points for their team in the quest of being named the “Game Show Master.” Be sure to brush up on important topics like pop culture, sports, and movies!
