Description

With our “Create Your Summer” format children may select specific enrichment programs to pursue their interests or discover new ones. Our age appropriate group offerings share many of the same aspects of our school – it’s hands-on, adventurous, energetic, creative, and offers a full spectrum of activities throughout the summer. Our small groups and trained staff provide support and attention to your child’s group. The flexible scheduling is designed to meet a variety of needs along with our extended hours and lunch options.

Full Day Sessions
Golf (grades 4-8)
Camp snapshot: Golf is a lifetime sport and this week will get children started in the game, or hone their existing skills. Players will receive a daily lesson from a PGA pro and will work on swing components, putting, and course etiquette. After the lessons, players will be grouped by level and play a daily round of golf with a coach. Courses may include Reeves, Little Miami, Meadow Links, and World of Golf. Participants must bring their own clubs and golf balls.

Wonderful World of Water

Camp Snapshot: Campers will
beat the heat and explore some of the amazing water attractions Cincy has to offer. Don’t forget your towel as we soak up a morning of sun at a local park and in the afternoon experience a pool or water park. Summer is a time for swimming, sunscreen, and splashing...and this week will feature all three!

Storm Chasers: Science Investigations
Instructor: Barbara James
When thunder rumbles, lightning strikes, and the rain pours down, we often wonder what is happening in the dark swirling skies. This earth science week will have your kids ready to predict when our next summer storm is coming. Fun projects like tornadoes in a bottle, rain sticks, and more will help children to learn about the weather. We will also focus some of this week on climate change and how humans can make a difference in the fight against global warming.

Afternoon Sessions 12:30 - 3:30pm
Guess Who: Cincinnati Surprises
Grades: 3-5
Instructor: Maura Hoying
This week may be shorter, but the surprises and fun certainly aren't! Each day of this camp will be just that: fun and surprising! A special guest from the Cincinnati area will be brought to campus each day and the campers will have to use clues to figure out who the guest is before they arrive. The first half of the day will be a game associated with the special guest and then the special guest will arrive and present after recess break!

Math Games
Grades: 3-6

This week will serve as a math refresher for students looking to sharpen their
math skills. Students will practice a variety of math skills, as well as problem solving and teamwork, in a fun and engaging way. Activities will include skill builders, games, and a group project that will enhance relevant math concepts.
