The Brit-Am Soccer Player Development League includes Practices and Match Days. Players have 3 options:
1. Register for Match Day only.
2. Register for a weeknight practice & a weekend Match Day.
3. Register with a privately organized group as a team & play as that team in the weekend Match Day.

What & Who is the Match Day Experience for?

Now in its 10th successful year, the Match Day Experience has become a proven alternative to non-professionally coached recreational soccer teams for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders. Our Player Development League (PDL) offers young players a unique opportunity to participate in organized, coach-led match days designed to be both educational and fun.
The PDL allows players to compete in friendly matches against teams from other local schools, with groups organized by school, grade, and gender. Unlike traditional recreational leagues, scores and standings are not tracked—placing the focus squarely on development and enjoyment.
Brit-Am’s experienced coaches serve as referees and in-game mentors, using real-time coaching to guide players and enhance their understanding of the game.
These weekly Match Day events emphasize skill-building and game intelligence while creating a positive atmosphere where young athletes can grow. The program prepares players for future participation in Classic. Select or Travel League soccer, giving them a solid technical and tactical foundation early in their playing journey.

Match Day Format: Our Match Day program offers soccer education at its best in a positive, fun environment where players improve their skill during continuous play. The 4 v 4 format (no goalies) or 5 v 5 (with goalies) accelerates the development of attacking and defending concepts by encouraging dribbling, turning, stealing the ball and scoring goals along with a basic introduction to goalkeeping. This format provides a simple picture for players to learn the game and allows for players to gain experience through realistic, game-like situations.

Our professional staff takes the necessary steps to ensure each game fits the players’ needs, ultimately leading to better game intelligence and understanding.


Fall 2026 Saturday Matches are scheduled for 6 weeks,
Saturdays, September 12-October 17

Afternoon match times generally begin at either 2 or 3 pm.

The 6 week Match Day program fee includes a player uniform.
Please note:
Players can also register for weekday PDL sessions and receive a $25 discount.


What should I bring?
