Golf (Week 7)
Description
Camp Director: John Koestner

Did you know that the astronaut Alan Shepard loved the game of golf so much that he took his golf gear 238,900 miles to play the game on the moon? Golf is a game that imbues deep affinity for many, and it is a sport that can be played throughout one's lifetime.

At Geneva golf camp, varsity boys golf coach John Koestner will introduce the fundamentals of the golf swing, the mechanics of the short game, and the rules of golf in a fun and entertaining way through games and contests. Campers will also spend some time on Tuesday and Thursday at Tee It Up driving range in Oviedo. Getting junior golfers started early and comfortable in the game presents future opportunities for camaraderie on the course with family, business associates, and friends. And who knows, maybe in the future a vacation to Mars will include a round of golf, so prepare your junior golfer now!
