Marvelous Math
Description
In this camp class campers will take a different component of math with hands on, engaging, and fun activities to explore and learn more about those strategies. We will begin learning about number sense exploring counting and addition and subtraction. On day two we will will have build and create with the world of shapes in geometry. On day three we will learn, build, create, and eat our fraction creations. On day four we will measure ourselves, friends, and different items around us. On day five will will travel for our field trip and wrap up our week with patterns and comparing and contrasting. Each day will involve rich vocabulary and read aloud to help students define ourselves and mathematicians.
