Girls Just Want to Make Art
Description
This class offers a celebration of amazing female artists, ranging from metal sculptor Ruth Asawa to abstract painter Lee Krasner to futuristic worldmaker Yayoi Kusama. Each day we will focus on a different female artist, learning about her story, influences, and work. Students will have the opportunity to create works of art inspired by the practice and methods of these diverse artists.
