Tales from Magic the Gathering (WK 8: 8/23-8/27 AM) UPPER LOOP A
In the card game Magic the Gathering, players take on the role of a magic user, summoning monsters and spells to fight others and reign victorious. But, how do you play? How does your deck come together? In this camp, kids will assemble a “draft deck” of 40 cards, use it to learn the game, and practice the art of storytelling by crafting tales about the cards in their deck. Why did all of these monsters come together? How do their different cultures and ideals mix and clash? What is their end goal? Students will create all the answers and more in Tales from Magic the Gathering. (Magic the Gathering card game is rated 13+)
