Become a garden food adventurer in this hands-on cooking class! Sharpen your culinary skills, bust out your gardening gloves, and learn how to whip up sweet and savory treats using locally grown food-- from the OES garden (which we’ll explore and tend to daily) as well as food from local farms. Ever made your own pesto? Popsicles? Hand-rolled pasta? In this course, we’ll EXPLORE foods that are in season and delicious, learning both in the garden and in the kitchen. Get ready to try new things and walk away from the week with new favorite foods! We’ll also take a field trip to a nearby farm to further explore the bounty of Oregon’s summer harvest.

All students attending Before/After camp, AM, and PM camps will be transitioned under staff supervision.

*Lunch will be provided for Full Day and AM camps. Bon Appetit manages the OES Dining Hall and specializes in fresh, local ingredients. Please see the Summer Lunch tab or for more information.
