Traveling Taste Buds: Global Chefs (WK8-AM-8/10-8/14)

Students will cook their way around the world during this camp! From tortillas to spring rolls to pasta, we will learn many different cooking styles in regions all across the globe. While celebrating a variety of delicious foods and traditions, we will look at maps and see how geography and agriculture influence the dishes that people eat around the world. We’ll talk a bit about agriculture and climate in Oregon, and spend some time working and in harvesting from the garden. On the last day, students will get to chose which region to focus on and cook something to share with the entire group!

All students attending Before/After camp, AM, and PM camps will be transitioned under staff supervision.

*Lunch will be provided for Full Day and AM camps. Bon Appetit manages the OES Dining Hall and specializes in fresh, local ingredients. Please see the Summer Lunch tab or for more information.
