(Spring) Karate
Description
Helix is an age appropriate Martial Arts and Movement course like no other. Students will get to dive into Martial Arts and Movement training in a safe and encouraging environment, cultivating and sowing the seeds of skills that will last a lifetime! In Helix, we will all be learning together to explore the special kind of power and focus we can develop when we combine what it means to be "strong" with what it means to be "safe”. Students will explore essential ways of protecting themselves with footwork, head movement, blocking, and the development of power and balance with their own diverse set of movements.

Sensei Paul is a lifelong Martial Artist and has been teaching for over fifteen years which is why he can offer and enact such a uniquely combined program. He also does film and stunt Martial Arts choreography so the program includes training the safest instincts when accidentally falling down. Although Sense Paul has competed in many tournament venues, matches, and trained other champions, aggressive contact between students IS NOT a part of this program to ensure the highest levels of safety as your kids learn these amazing, practical, and show stopping skills.

Karate has a minimum sign up of 6 students and a maximum sign up of 14.

23/24 Financial Aid
If you receive financial assistance from CFS for day school tuition, please select this box. *FA awards will be applied to reservations within one week of the deposit being paid. The default amount is 1%. This is just a placeholder FA awards are specific to each family.* IF YOU PAY THE BALANCE IN FULL BEFORE FINANCIAL AID IS APPLIED, YOU WILL HAVE A CREDIT TO YOUR ACCOUNT. The formula for financial aid is one-half (50%) of the financial aid percentage awarded for day school tuition. For example, if a family gets 42% of day school tuition covered by financial aid, then 21% of the auxiliary program fees will be covered by financial aid.
