Crowdsourced Spice Blending with Curio Spice Co.
Description
Join us for a flavorful evening of creativity and community as we welcome Claire Cheney, owner of Curio Spice Co., to Wright-Locke Farm! Together, we’ll explore the art and science of spice blending through Curio’s signature Spice Wheel—a colorful guide to aroma, taste, and texture.
During this program, participants will collaborate with Claire to create a one-of-a-kind spice blend, crafted from your collective ideas. You’ll learn how spices work together, sample the final blend, and discover how to bring balance and depth to your own cooking.
Enjoy a cozy and aromatic evening complete with Chef Kelcy’s homemade cookies, baked from her own recipes using Curio Spice blends, and warm mulled cider as we blend, taste, and share stories.
Included with your ticket:
-A 2oz jar of the custom spice blend you helped create
-Your own Curio Spice Wheel
-A jar of Wright-Locke Farm’s Farmhouse Sumac Chili Blend, made in collaboration with Curio Spice
-Mulled Cider and Chef Kelcy’s Curio-spiced cookies with recipes to recreate at home
