All About Wool summer session 2
Description
Does your camper have a penchant for both animals and crafts? Have them experience this intersection first hand via the world of fibre arts. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in sheep shearing, wool cleaning and processing, and take a turn at the different art forms using this wonderful product. Campers will be introduced to basic needle and wet felting techniques, natural and mainstream dying techniques, and hand spinning with a drop spindle. Most of each day will focus on their wool projects while the other portion will be spent experiencing the classic ranch activities such as horseback riding, gardening, crafts, homestead snacks, games, and small animal time. Campers will not do all 6 “classic” activities each day but will be able to experience all of them at least once during their week at camp. Limited to 10 campers per session and ages 10-15.

This will be similar to the 2023 session but will be adapted to individual campers with intermediate/harder projects if they are returning from wool camp last year.
