Leapin' Lizards - it's a Good Friday Masterclass!


For students aiming to enhance their auditions! This exclusive workshop, led by Julia Hunter, a professional performer and the current star of the national tour of Annie, offers young performers targeted guidance to refine their musical theatre talents. Participants will receive personalized, supportive coaching and feedback from Julia, whose bio is detailed below, to help them succeed in the competitive world of musical theatre.

Students will get audition preparation tips, participate in group vocal exercises, and every student will get the chance to sing the prepared vocal audition cut that they provide.  Additionally, students will get the opportunity to ask Julia questions during a Q&A portion of the workshop about her career, the Annie tour, or what it takes to be a successful musical theatre performer.

To provide the best experience for our young performers, this exclusive opportunity is only available to 10 students.
THIS CLASS TAKES PLACE 10AM-12PM.

*Each student will need to prepare a 16-bar audition cut of a song, and come prepared to perform it and receive feedback/coaching.

*An accompanist, Anthony Zediker, will be provided for students. Students will need to provide clearly marked sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist.

ABOUT JULIA
Julia Nicole Hunter is currently playing Grace Farrell in the National Tour of Annie. She is originally from Nashville TN, but currently based in New York City. Previous credits include: In The Heights (Nina) at the Walnut Street Theatre, The Color Purple (Nettie), Nunsense (Sister Amnesia), You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Sally) and a principal vocalist for Burn The Floor and Norwegian Cruise Lines. She has a BFA from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and has been a vocal coach for several years. @ju1ia.nico1e

ABOUT ANTHONY
Anthony Zediker is a Nashville native but now a Los Angeles-based music director, conductor, and pianist. Currently the associate music director and conductor of the North American tour of Annie. Recent highlights: American in Paris (Cape Playhouse), Tick Tick... BOOM (International City Theater with Robby Award nomination for best music direction), A Little Night Music (Greenway Court Theatre), A Sondheim Celebration (Bourbon Room sponsored by the Pasadena), and many more! Anthony received Best Musical Director awards from Stage Raw and Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle in 2018 for Celebration Theatre's production of Cabaret. He holds a B.M from DePaul University and a M.M from the University of Southern California.
