Art Party with Experimental Painting, Drawing & Photography
Description
Love to draw, paint, take photographs, and experiment? Join Visual Arts teacher Kendra for an art party where imagination, curiosity, and playful exploration inspire new ways to tell stories through materials!

Young artists of all experience levels will build their skills through painting, photography, collage, and drawing. We’ll combine traditional art techniques with experimental approaches to create mixed-media artwork. Make painted-paper weavings, splatter-and-spin art, squeegee paintings, and suminagashi marbled prints. Draw from observation and imagination, and discover how photographs, painted papers, and expressive marks can come together to tell your story. This is a space to get messy, follow your curiosity, and have fun!

Each week brings new materials, techniques, and inspiration from artists around the world. Bring your interests and ideas, take creative risks, and discover your own artistic voice!
