The Knight School Early Elementary Chess
Description
The Knight School's Elementary Chess Program is a fun, screen free introduction to chess for K-2 students. Kids work through the fundamentals of the game (how each piece moves, how to set up the board, and how to think ahead) and earn colorful belts as they master each new tactic like forks, pins, and openers.

Sample activities include colorful puzzlers, story based lessons where each chess piece has its own personality, sportsmanship handshakes, and mini tournaments where kids put their skills to the test against classmates. Every student gets their own chess set and materials to keep.
