Strategy & Storytelling: Chess and Dungeons & Dragons Adventures

Enter a world where imagination meets strategy! In this high-energy summer class, campers will dive into epic storytelling through Dungeons & Dragons while sharpening their minds with dynamic, kid-friendly chess. Guided by expert Game Masters and chess instructors, students will create characters, embark on collaborative quests, and learn how to think ahead, solve problems, and work as a team—both on the game board and in fantastical worlds.

Perfect for beginners and experienced players alike, this class blends creativity, logic, and play in a way that’s engaging, social, and wildly fun. Expect laughter, friendly competition, imaginative adventures, and plenty of “aha!” moments as campers learn they are powerful thinkers and storytellers. Roll the dice, make your move, and let the games begin! Campers will spend half of their day engaging in the fantastical world of D & D and the other half of their day strategizing as chess masters!

This camp takes place at the Wildwood Elementary School.
