(For Wildwood students entering Kindergarten and newly admitted 1st graders only)

The Pea Pods Program is a joyful, gentle introduction to life at Wildwood—designed to help our youngest learners feel confident, comfortable, and excited before the school year begins. While the days will echo some familiar rhythms of a kindergarten classroom, the heart of Pea Pods is all about summer fun, play, and connection.

Led by Wildwood teachers, students will enjoy Morning Meeting, time in the Big Yard, hands-on block building, creative play, and engaging community-building activities that help friendships blossom. Routines are introduced in a relaxed, playful way—just enough to build comfort, without losing the magic of summer.

And did we mention Fun Fridays? Most weeks wraps up with a splash—literally! Fridays feature special activities and afternoon water play, making them a camper favorite.

Families may register for one week or up to four weeks, depending on interest and availability. Whether your child joins for a single week or the whole session, Pea Pods is a wonderful way to ease into Wildwood while soaking up all the joy of summer.
