Step Right Up to the Tinkering Carnival!

Is your child ready to turn "what if" into "watch this"? This summer, Rediscover Center is bringing our signature brand of hands-on making to Wildwood for an unforgettable week of engineering, creativity, and play.
In this high-energy program, campers become the architects of their own boardwalk. We’ll spend the week exploring STEAM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) through the lens of carnival magic.

What Your Tinkerer Will Do:

*Master the Tools: Under expert guidance, campers learn to safely use real tools—from clamps and drills to saws and hot glue—building fine motor skills and confidence.

*Engineer the Fun: How do you make a marble roll? What makes a launcher powerful? Kids will explore physics and mechanics as they build functional pinball machines, bean bag tosses, and gravity-defying games.

*The Creative Process: From initial sketches to final paint jobs, campers practice the "Tinkering Mindset"—embracing trial and error, troubleshooting problems, and iterating on their designs.

This camp takes place at the Wildwood Elementary School.
