¡Vamos a aprender y divertirnos! Join Wildwood's middle school Spanish teacher, Profe Carolina, for a weeklong Spanish Adventure designed especially for elementary students new to Spanish. Through stories, songs, games, and art, students will discover the vibrant traditions, customs, and celebrations of the Spanish-speaking world. Each day brings new adventures—creating mini skits, singing along, drawing, and co-writing fun stories with the teacher—all while learning key Spanish words and the "Super Seven" verbs (to go, to be, to like, to have, to want, there is, there are). By the end of the week, students will be able to greet others, talk about themselves and their families, share likes and dislikes, and explore cultural favorites like La Tomatina in Spain! This immersive, hands-on experience introduces Spanish in an exciting, engaging, and unforgettable way.
