Summer Theater 2026 - Elementary - Design Track - (Incoming 2- 5 graders)
Description
Wildwood's Elementary Summer Theater Program is back on our outdoor elementary campus stage for a joyful, high-energy theater adventure! The Design Track is for campers who do not wish to perform in the show but want to help create all of the production magic!

Design campers will help design and build the show's technical elements, including set construction and painting, costumes, props, and graphic design. Design campers will run the technical elements of the performances as well as serve as backstage crew. When not working on design elements, they participate in arts and crafts, sports, and specialty Fun Fridays featuring waterslides and more! This four-week program offers an inclusive, hands-on theater experience, and a field trip to see the Middle School Summer Theater production is included!

Program Details:

Dates: Monday, June 15 – Saturday, July 11 (no camp June 19 and July 3)
Performances: July 8–11, with a morning closing performance on Saturday, July 11 followed by strike and wrap party
Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Elementary Campus
Open To: Incoming 2nd–5th grade Wildwood students (current 1st–4th graders)
Cost: $2,700 for the full four-week program | $2,600 early-bird discount until March 1. $500 - non-refundable fee for cancellations after May 22, 2026.

Important: Design campers must enroll for the full four weeks. This is a four-week program, and consistent attendance is essential; families planning travel or absences during this time should not enroll.

Show selection: We are hoping to produce The Wizard of Oz (Youth Edition), but we are still waiting on official performance rights before we can confirm the title. We are unable to officially announce or promote a production until rights are fully secured and we appreciate your patience as this process plays out. Regardless of the final production chosen (we have strong backup selections), we hope you will enroll with confidence in the experience, the creativity, collaboration, growth, and joy that happens every single summer, no matter the show.
