Summer Theater 2026 - Middle School - Design Track - (Incoming 6th - 9th graders)
Description
Wildwood's Middle School Summer Theater Design Track is for students who want to create the magic behind the scenes! Design campers work alongside the Performance Track to help mount a full production, learning hands-on technical theater skills in a conservatory-style environment.
Design Track campers design and build all technical elements of the show, including set construction and painting, costumes, props, lighting, sound, and graphic design. They'll also run tech during performances and serve as backstage crew. This dynamic, collaborative experience challenges students, builds confidence, and celebrates every essential role in the storytelling process. Design campers participate in all rotations except rehearsals, and the program includes a field trip to see the Upper School Summer Theater production!

Program Details:
Dates: Monday, June 8 – Thursday, July 2 (no camp June 19)
Performances: Wednesday and Thursday, July 1 and 2 (daytime and evening)
Hours: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Location: Middle/Upper Campus
Open To: Incoming 6th–9th grade Wildwood students (current 5th–8th graders)
Cost: $2,700 for the full four-week program, $2,600 early-bird discount until March 1.
Important: Design campers must enroll for the full four weeks. This is a four-week program, and consistent attendance is essential; families planning travel or absences during this time should not enroll. A waitlist will be created if full.
