Art For Your Heart
Description
In Art For Your Heart kids get to relax, explore, and express themselves through art in a kind and supportive space. Students will join Manu, 2nd grade associate, in a creative enrichment class where feelings, ideas, and imagination are welcome. Using lots of fun materials, colors, and textures, students discover how art can help them share what’s going on inside—no “perfect” artwork required!

In this class, kids may:
• Let go of stress and big feelings in a healthy way
• Build focus and attention through hands-on creating
• Grow confidence and self-esteem
• Feel more comfortable expressing emotions

This class looks different from a traditional art class. There’s no pressure to copy, compare, or “do it right.” Instead, students are encouraged to:
• Be proud of their one-of-a-kind creations
• Create freely and follow their ideas
• Trust their imagination and personal style
• Feel supported, safe, and encouraged

Manu offers gentle guidance and lots of positive encouragement while students explore art at their own pace. The goal is for every child to leave feeling seen, confident, and proud, using art as a joyful and meaningful way to express themselves.
