Minecraft Machine Engineering
Description
Students will explore how flying machines and other moving systems are engineered inside Minecraft. Using redstone, pistons, and engines, students will design and build moving contraptions, such as flying machines, elevators, and transportation devices. Along the way, students will test ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and discover how creativity and engineering work together. Join Jen DuBois, Wildwood’s Futures Lab Teacher, who has taught at Wildwood for 18 years and has been teaching Minecraft since 2014. Let's set things in motion!
