Minecraft Roller Coaster Engineering

Buckle up and get ready for an adventure in creativity, engineering, and imagination! In this hands-on Minecraft Education enrichment class, students will dream up, design, and build their very own virtual roller coasters—complete with twists, turns, drops, and Redstone-powered thrills. Using Redstone circuitry, powered rails, and inventive problem-solving, young builders will explore the science and design principles behind what makes a great ride—from speed and motion to structure and safety.

Guided by Jen DuBois, Wildwood’s Futures Lab teacher with 18 years of teaching experience and over a decade of Minecraft instruction, students will work collaboratively, test their creations, and refine their designs to create the ultimate theme park experience.
