Description
FOREST TINKERING CAMP!
Your camper will learn new skills and how to use tools to make fun, useful, practical things in our forest. Forest Tinkering Campers base out of our new shelter in the woods by the creek.

> Flint-knapping to make arrowheads
> Making and testing fishing nets
> Making rope
> Whittling with pocket knife
> Chopping wood with ax
> Building a survival shelter
> Building and testing water filters (we don't actually drink it)
> Cooking over campfire
> Become proficient at fire starting from scratch, (i.e. no matches or llghters)

Unlike Tinkering School NC's format of focusing on collaborative, large-scale projects, the goal is more individual focused during Forest Tinkering
6:1 counselor to camper ratio. Ages 9 - 12.
