Violin Lessons with Melodee Valentine
Description
Learn how to play the violin! In lessons, students will work on introductory theory and note-reading, as well as learn repertoire from the Suzuki Violin school books. Correct posture and set-up are prioritized, as well as fostering creativity and ownership over performance choices. Students should make individual practice goals that are appropriate for their skill levels, and will be expected to come to lessons prepared. Students will be required to have their own violin or access to one. Additional fees may be required for practice books and music. Please note, only one excused absence per school year is allowed without charge. Music lessons continue through the entire year.
