Chickadee Toddler & Adult Class Wednesdays Spring
Description
Chickadee is Parks Plus Creation's toddler and adult class created for children who are 1.5-2.5 years old, accompanied by an adult. As an introduction to our program philosophy, Chickadee Toddler and Adult Class provides a foundation for early discoveries in nature. Parks Plus Creation educators provide a safe, welcoming space for children and caregivers to develop a positive connection with nature through social connections and sensory explorations. We hope that these experiences will create lasting memories, and lifelong curiosity and stewardship.

Each Chickadee class we sing songs, use tools, create connections to forest creatures and plants, participate in group movement, and explore sensory materials. Educators guide and support children and adults by introducing positive language around problem solving and building peer relationships. All activities are optional; we support families in following the lead of their child, to see what interests them about nature.
