Communities of Practice 2026-2027
Description
Communities of Practice (COP) will begin again this year after September 1, 2026 and will run through mid-June 2027 We are excited that you are planning to participate. Some of the groups have been meeting online via zoom while others have been able to meet in person. Group options are Specialized Ministry, Retired Ministry, an LGBTQ+ia group, Local Church Ministry and mixed groups. We recognize that people live in all different regions, that there is self-interest to protect one’s health, and also traffic is a bear. Please let your preference be known regarding online and in person groups.

Participation is open to Montana/Wyoming and the Central Pacific conferences as well as the Pacific Northwest Conference as they do not have a Community of Practice option at this time.

Rev. Amy Hitchens is designated by the Committee on Ministry to Coordinate the Communities of Practice this year. Please let her know if you are new or a returning participant, if you would like to remain in the same group, or if you would prefer to shift to a new group. Amy's email is amy@npucc.org

Only those who are registered are able to participate in the groups. Scholarships and payment plans are available! Even if you cannot pay the whole cost up front, please pay the $50 non-refundable registration fee as soon as possible.

Thank you and we look forward to you having this time apart to support and learn with your colleagues.
