202 Mastering Multiplication (Ages 9-12) 9-11:30AM The goal of this enrichment class is to provide your student with the ability to be able to access the multiplication facts of 6 x 6 through 12 x 12. In other words, if asked for the product of any two numbers that we have covered in class, the student will have learned a technique for calculating or quickly remembering that information. 272 Let’s Act and Rap (7-10) 12:30-3PM Here’s a chance for your child to be immersed in the physiology, migration patterns, adaptations, contributions…the BEAUTY of birds! This class is based on a dramatized rap, “Protect the Birds,” performed by a national award-winning public school ecology club, which was presented at a Keep Texas Beautiful conference. As students prepare props and costumes used to rap/act out the verses (in which our topics are embedded), they will come to appreciate the unique attributes of “our feathered friends.” They will also learn about protecting the environment, so that we may “protect the birds” in our daily lives. To quote Dr. Thomas Lovejoy, “If you take care of the birds, you take care of most of the big problems of the world.”

276 Financial Literacy (10-12) 12:30-3PM Financial Literacy is a fun, hands-on course designed to teach students essential skills for managing money. Participants will explore the basics of budgeting, the importance of saving, the fundamentals of investing, and the concept of credit. Our goal is to empower students to make wise, confident decisions with their finances. Through interactive activities, students will practice counting currency, play games centered on purchasing merchandise, and master the art of making change. By the end of the week, campers will walk away with a better understanding of the real-world cost of items and the tools they need for a successful financial future!

280 LEGO Build a City (7-12) 12:30-3 Explore the exciting world of LEGO bricks and unleash your creativity as you construct a vibrant miniature city!
Build awe-inspiring structures such as airports, skyscrapers, fire and police stations, sports stadiums, office buildings, homes, bridges, towers, train stations, schools, hospitals, roads, parks, playgrounds, farms and ranches and more. This is a journey in creativity that blends fun and learning where mathematics, engineering principles, measurement, estimation, analysis, architectural forms, and geometric concepts come to life in the design of your unique creations. Discover the art of interlocking and other building techniques that help to create solid structures that can be as tall as you choose. Design and customize
vehicles (such as cars, trucks, planes, boats, and buses) to add a dynamic touch to your cityscape. The artistic

Robotics: Computer-Controlled (7-12) 12:30-3PM Join us for a week of LEGOs and computers as we develop building skills in S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) as well as language and communication concepts. This workshop features robots built with specific LEGO bricks and elements, and focuses on building robots (boats, soccer players, alligators, and more).Participants will create robots that
incorporate a variety of parts (such as a motor, tilt sensor or motion sensor). To control their robots' movements,
students will use a specially designed LEGO USB Hub programmed through computer software. To advance
their skills, students are encouraged to design their own program to operate their robots.

Students will dive into hands-on techniques such as bubble painting, shaving cream scraping, balloon and vegetable printing, and various watercolor styles. Once their masterpieces are dry, students will learn how to collage and weave their beautiful, custom-made papers into stunning works of art!
