The goal of this enrichment class is to provide your student with the ability to quickly access the beginning
multiplication facts. In other words, if asked for the product of any two numbers that we have covered in class, participants will have learned a technique for calculating or quickly remembering that information. Students will learn different techniques including song memorization, a simple counting approach and using arrays and number lines.This class will be fast-paced and very engaging!

130 LEGO Creative Challenges (5-10) 9-11:30AM
Experience the fun of building with LEGO bricks and elements to create your own designs; or, you can work with others using LEGO base plates, 1x2, 1x3, and 1x4 bricks as you discover the
beauty of interlocking for strong "builds." Each day, a challenge will be presented: interlocking to make towers, then using windows & doors, adding LEGO elements such as fences, animals, and vegetation, and building with other
unique pieces. We will also create pyramids and mosaics, and build vehicles and facades. Communication
skills are enhanced as students describe their creations to others. Creativity will be encouraged, and participants will also work with counting and estimation. Throughout the week, builders also cooperate with one
another in the challenging task of disassembling, sorting
and returning LEGO elements to the correct bins. It will be an amazing week of fun and exciting builds!

Join us for a week of LEGOs and computers as we develop building skills in S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) as well as language and communication concepts. This workshop features robots built with specific LEGO bricks and elements, and focuses on building robots (boats, soccer players, alligators, and more).Participants will create robots that
incorporate a variety of parts (such as a motor, tilt sensor or motion sensor). To control their robots' movements,
students will use a specially designed LEGO USB Hub programmed through computer software. To advance
their skills, students are encouraged to design their own program to operate their robots.

Welcome to The Literacy Lab - Summer Edition! This TWO-WEEK, interactive summer camp helps young learners master the fundamentals of reading and writing through the Orton-Gillingham approach. Campers will explicitly review and write the 70 phonograms, recognize and manipulate sounds, practice reading skills, and build confidence in their literacy journey.Using creativity to reinforce learning, participants will enjoy making fun crafts that connect to the phonograms and book of study. Guided by certified instructors (M.Ed., CALT, Spalding), students will read exciting stories highlighting phonetic patterns, and enjoy rhymes and chants to solidify our understanding of sounds and symbols.Through fun games, they will connect sounds to letters and words, making learning enjoyable and playful!

186A Literacy Lab: WK 1 of 2 (6-8)
Welcome to The Literacy Lab - Summer Edition! This TWO-WEEK, interactive summer camp helps young learners
master the fundamentals of reading and writing through the Orton-Gillingham approach. Campers will explicitly review
and write the 70 phonograms, recognize and manipulate sounds, practice reading skills and build confidence in their literacy journey. Using creativity to reinforce learning, participants will enjoy making fun crafts that connect to the phonograms and book of study. Guided by certified instructors (M.Ed., CALT, Spalding), students will read exciting stories highlighting phonetic patterns, and enjoy rhymes and chants to
solidify our understanding of sounds and symbols. Through fun games, they will connect sounds to letters and words, making learning enjoyable and playful!
NOTE: This is a two-week afternoon class designed for ages 6-8. When enrolling, select BOTH Week 1 (June
