Liturgical Dance: Prayer, Praise, and Worship
Description
Students will explore sacred movement through dance of how to “embody” prayer, praise, and worship. Students will learn how to follow divinely inspired praise and worship choreography, learn the basic dance fundamentals of ballet, modern, and African dance, understand the biblical principles of sacred movement, and minister divinely inspired choreography to an audience. Attire is loose fitting (modest). Girls should wear sweatpants or loose fitting joggers and t-shirts that are below the hips. Feet will be bare.
