Nature Squad at Night: S’mores and Skills 2

Registration Requirements: Preregistration required Registration Closes 9/23/2026 at 12 pm.

Ages of Children Served: This program is designed for ages 5 through 10 years. Children will be split into smaller, age-appropriate groups upon arrival.

Program Description: Come along for a special evening adventure! Kids ages 5–10 will practice wilderness skills like fire-building basics (with staff guidance), help prepare and cook a simple campfire dinner complete with s’mores, and work together to build a simple outdoor shelter. This drop-off program offers all the hands-on fun of Nature Squad—just at dusk—while parents enjoy a night out. Activities will vary between the two sessions, so feel free to join one or both!

Note: This is a drop-off program. Caregivers will drop off their child for this program. Children must be potty-trained.

Program participants meet at our Rowe Woods Visitor Center's Auditorium.

Cost: With Family Membership $35; without Family Membership or nonmember $43. Only members with Family Membership (or higher) receive a discount.
