Runs during Sessions B and C

The Explorers Program is a 13-day high-adventure experience designed for older campers who want greater challenge, independence, and excitement. This session includes:

Three-night backpacking trip

Training in outdoor living skills and low-impact camping

Optional trip to a County Fair (additional fee)

Optional trip to Sky High Adventure Park (additional fee)

Stay-over weekend with laundry run, Mass, and supper out (included)

“Staff for a Day” experience during the second week (optional)

In addition to these adventures, Explorers enjoy special evening programs, extra campfires, and a later curfew. Participants may pursue multiple Award Clubs during their stay and have the freedom to switch clubs as they wish.

This is a full two-week session that includes a stay-over weekend, during which campers head into town for laundry, Mass, and dinner—all included in your registration fee. The optional Staff for a Day shadowing opportunity offers a behind-the-scenes look at camp life. While it can be great preparation for our CIT program, this session is designed purely for enjoyment and includes no formal staff training.

A suggested packing list for this session will be available on our website.
