Senior Capstone
Description
Throughout the summer, rising seniors will research and take a stance on a debatable topic. Based on their research, students will write an 8-page persuasive essay or create a persuasive, interactive project. Previous topics have included: the benefits of requiring AI analytics in sports to prevent injury, the incorporation of student autonomy in choosing literature in ELA classes, and the harmful effects of food additives and preservatives.
This class will be a hybrid of online and in-person instruction based on students' schedules. This course is only open to rising seniors at the Canterbury School of Florida.
