Do you love learning about marine science and exploring ocean life? Join us for a fun-filled week in Canterbury’s equipt marine studies facility, the Cousteau Center of Marine Studies! In this immersive camp, young marine enthusiasts will gain hands-on experience exploring Tampa Bay’s beautiful ecosystems. Campers will participate in exciting excursions to places like Fort De Soto Beach and Weedon Island Nature Preserve, where campers will explore estuary waters and collect marine life using seine, dip nets, and snorkeling. At the Cousteau Center for Marine Studies, campers will engage in marine science labs, like touch tanks, plankton investigations using microscopes, and animal exploration. Creative campers will also enjoy crafting ocean-themed art, such as fish prints, tie-dye, and eco-friendly art. This camp offers the perfect balance of outdoor adventure, scientific discovery, and creativity, sparking a lifelong love for the marine environment!
