Lil' Buckaroos- Girls 5
Description
Session 5 (mini week) Lil Buckaroos is open to primarily beginner riders.

Girls: Grades 3-6

Due to the short nature of the program, Lil’ Buckaroos has little formal riding instruction beyond the basic safety rules necessary for a trail ride; actual riding time is about 2 hours total.

Campers will get a chance to interact with and learn about horses from the ground, including grooming, feeding, ground lessons, and some barn chores. In addition, Lil’ Buckaroos will participate in all other Classic Camp activities open to their age group.

Beginner: Beginner riders are those who have never ridden before and those who have limited riding experience. Riders will learn to control their horses at a walk and work on steering independently.

Note: In Horse Camp, cabins are assigned by gender and age. Friends who attend camp together can be in the same cabin and do not need to be at the same riding level.
