Description
Session 4 Horse Camp is open to Intermediate & Advanced riders.

Girls: Grades 4-7

Please Note: When registering for a horse camp session, campers are signing up for the program as a whole—not for a specific riding level. On the first day of camp, our riding staff will assess each camper’s ability through a short riding evaluation to determine their appropriate level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced). Placement decisions are made with safety as the top priority and to ensure the best learning experience for every rider. This may mean campers are placed in a group they’ve been in before, or one that is higher or lower than expected. Thank you for understanding and supporting this important safety process in our high-risk program area.

Intermediate: Intermediate riders should have a minimum of two previous sessions of horse camp or equivalent riding experience. Riders must be able to independently control a horse at a walk.

Advanced: For experienced riders who can confidently control a horse at a walk and trot. When ready, advanced riders may try bareback riding and controlling at a lope.

Note: In Horse Camp, cabins are assigned by gender and age. Friends who attend camp together can be in the same cabin and do not need to be at the same riding level.
