Fun with Phonics
Description
With a passion for developing a love of reading and writing in young children, we look forward to providing fun, hands-on opportunities to teach your children the building blocks of literacy. Students will engage each day: in a morning meeting to build oral language and communication skills, hands-on learning stations to strengthen their fine motor skills, reading and writing workshop mini-lessons and small group instruction time to further develop their reading and writing skills. Students will also have free choice centers which include various STEAM activities. This camp is led by Beth Ellis, a junior kindergarten teacher.
