Hopping Frogs and Racing Lizards: An Amphibian and Reptile Adventure (Rising 5th-8th Grade)

Have you ever wondered what kind of animals are swimming around in the Bosque pond? Maybe you’ve pondered what it would be like to put on waders and dive into the river? Join us on an adventure to find out what kind of reptiles and amphibians dwell in the Rio Grande Bosque all around us here at Bosque Summer and become expert herpetologists. In this class, you’ll not only learn about reptiles and amphibians, but get hands on experience with non-venomous animals in the Bosque. Your instructors will be experienced biologists and amphibian handlers. Even if you’re not comfortable handling these animals, you’ll get to see them in real life and help us collect data about amphibian population health.

*Please note if your camper signs up for a morning and afternoon flex camp there will be a supervised lunch in between the classes. Campers may bring lunch from home or order lunch.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Family: If you cancel your registration at least two weeks before the class begins, we will refund tuition, less a $50 cancellation fee per class. If you cancel your registration less than two weeks before the class starts, no refund will be given.

Cancellation by Bosque School: We reserve the right to cancel a class based on safety protocols or if enrollment is insufficient. Any tuition paid will be refunded in full or a student can select an alternate program to attend.

This signs your camper up for after care for THIS week of Bosque Summer only

After Care is available from 3:30-6:00 pm for the 8 weeks of our regular summer program.

Families may also drop into after care at any time. Daily drop in rate for after care of $40 per day. If families drop in more than three days per week they will be charged the weekly charge of $100. 		+ $100.00
