Description:
At Boating Is Fun Camp, we provide a place for campers to have fun in the summer and become a part of a community by fostering friendships and building confidence through teaching boating skills. Although we may talk a lot about living a pirate's life, Boating in Boston Day Camps focus on developing responsible, respectful, and reasonable campers (or as we like to call them, the 3 aRRRs!). We want campers to care for themselves, each other, and the environment.

Camp Activities:
Sailing. For campers at Boating Is Fun Camp, learning is a breeze! Campers will learn to rig up while tied right to our main dock or maybe head out to a mooring with a bunch of their mates. When the winds are good, it's smooth sailing, and there's always plenty to learn when we gather around the whiteboard for a lesson or two.

Paddling. We’ve got plenty of kayaks for your young adventurer, and campers can't wait to try their sea legs on a stand up paddleboard (SUP)! Paddlers will be in their own single kayaks most of the time, working on how to hold a paddle and perfecting their strokes. But some days it’s nice to paddle with a friend or two, and we’ll try our hands at kayaking in doubles or paddling a canoe.

Cancelation Policy
For cancelations up to 6 weeks before the start of camp you will receive a full refund
For cancelations between 6 weeks and 3 weeks before the start of camp you will receive a 50% refund
For cancelations 3 weeks or less before the start of camp no refunds will be given.

Morning Activities

By choosing paddling, your camper will experience a variety of paddle sports, such as kayaking, canoeing, and stand up paddleboard (SUP). Please note that paddle activities for each day will be based on equipment availability and weather conditions.

Campers learn to rig their own boats, take off from a dock or mooring, sail on a reach, and much more! When it comes to sailing, teamwork is a must, as campers work together to hoist their sail, sail a steady course, and navigate the waters for some pirate-style fun!
Afternoon Activities
