Our Counselor in Training (CIT) program is a way to keep older campers involved at camp. If your camper is interested in continuing to attend Wildwood Ranch camps in the capacity of a CIT with additional responsibilities and new experiences, sign them up! On Monday they will take an abbreviated tour and check in on the rules. Then we will take a short personality/leadership quiz to get to know ourselves and our cohort. We will discuss the different opportunities at camp and decide on our first placement. CITs will have the opportunity to work with groups as a jr. counselor, assist with horses, and help out at crafts, nature, games and snack. Our goal is to have an accepting program where our older campers can make friends and leave with some new skills.
CITs should arrive at 8:45 and be picked up at 3:15 so that they can assist in feeding our animals in the morning and afternoon. If you have younger campers they can arrive and leave with the CIT.
