Learn, play, and hone your skills in active and fast-paced games: Ga-Ga, 9-Square, sprout ball and more! All ages and abilities welcome.
ABC - Actions to Beautify Camp
Want to work with others to make camp look better? Want to get your hands a little dirty? Choose this class if you want to leave your mark on camp! Use community building and creativity skills to complete projects that will help the future of RRR in this service oriented class.
Advanced Friendship Bracelets
Can’t get enough of making friendship bracelets? In advanced friendship bracelets you will learn how to read advanced patterns and have time to make lots of bracelets for your friends!
Anything Goes
Together the class chooses from a list of activities. Vote on fun things to do such as crafts, games, snack making, etc. Anything goes!
Archery
Bows and arrows aimed at the targets down range! In this class girls will learn archery basics and improve upon existing skills. They will play fun games each day and get lots of practice for the tournament at the end of the week!
Baking
Girls will learn baking techniques and tips as they get their hands messy baking lots of tasty treats!.
Beginner Horseback Riding
New riders and those who are not yet independent please join us in learning the basics of western riding and horsemanship. Lessons will be split between horseback lessons and ground lessons to improve riders’ relationships and confidence working with horses. We teach skills based on AAHS lessons giving our riders the proper foundation to move forward in any future horseback activities, whether that is future riding lessons or a safer vacation trail ride. We look forward to starting your cowgirl on a path to be a lifelong horse girl!

Climbing Wall & Rappelling
Challenge yourself climbing up and rappelling down in this duo class. Alternate between the climbing wall and the natural rappelling cliff to hone your skills on belay! Try different routes on the wall and learn scaling and bounding on the cliff for an extra challenge. Girls must be rising 5th grade or older.
Crafts
This class is for makers who want to unleash their creativity on several hands-on projects during the week.
Creature Creation
In this class campers will unleash their imagination by creating a 3D sculpture of an animal (real or imaginary) using a variety of materials and techniques. Use one of our templates or bring your unique creative vision to life!
Dance
Learn steps for different types of dance (such as ballet, ballroom, jazz, hip hop, etc.) and practice for an end-of-session performance.
Diving Galore and More!
Jump, dive and splash! Learn different dives, tricks, and games in this fun pool class. This class is for girls who can't get enough of the pool!
Drama (Two Week Class)
Learn dramatic techniques as you rehearse for the end-of- session performance. The drama staff chooses a script and the girls try out for different roles at the beginning of the week. Open to all skill levels with lots of opportunity to learn. (This class meets both weeks of 2-week sessions.)
Drawing 101
Learn the elements & principles of art through daily drawing lessons. Take home a sketchbook at the end of the session with your take on shade, texture, color, value, perspective, and more. Let go of the stress of perfecting a project and instead delve into learning a new skill among new friends! See you this summer future artists!
Farm Animal Fun
Learn about and fall in love with our camp farm animals! Spend an hour of your morning with a different focus each day on horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and more. Our animals look forward to all of your care this summer at the barn!

Participate in fun and informative experiments and games that allows us to enrich our minds! Discover and explore using the building blocks of science, technology, engineering, art, and more!
Hand Sewing
Learn how to hand sew various stitches through making simple projects, such as eye masks,bookmarks, and small pouches.
Knitting & Crocheting
Learn the basics of knitting and/or crocheting, expand on skills you already have. Complete a project at your own pace while you visit with friends and learn skills that will last a lifetime.
Miniatures
Learn how to create teeny-tiny objects for a tiny room you’ll love to take home and display.
Mixed Media Art
In this class you will be using a range of art mediums and non-traditional materials to create a variety of art projects. This class is for the creative minds who like to think outside the box.
Mounted Horseback Activities
This class is for riders of all ages and levels who can pass a minimum skills test to prove they can control a horse safely and independently at a walk. Each day will be a series of games played on horseback involving both individual and team activities. The class will focus on the joy of riding with easy but fun games and time to make friends with other die hard horse girlies!

No Bake Recipes
This class will meet in the Grubstake and campers will have fun creating (and eating) simple recipes. We will use blenders, microwaves and other small appliances instead of ovens. Satisfaction guaranteed!
Painting
Create your own masterpiece! Learn about painting techniques, composition and art history as you express yourself in this class.
Photography
Learn the basics of photography on digital cameras, such as composition, camera settings, lighting and so much more!
Pool Sports
This class is for the sporty girl who loves the pool! Spend time splashing around the pool while playing sports like water polo, water basketball, water volleyball, water aerobics and more. Whether your team wins or not, you will have fun playing with your friends.
River Sports
We’ve combined all of the river favorites into one class! Enjoy the Blanco River as you try things like kayaking, paddle boarding, log rolling, fishing, and venturing up or down river.
Rocky River Roundup
Become a camp reporter, cartoonist, and/or writer. Work together to build a newspaper about your time at camp and report on the goings on of the RRR campers, staff and activities in your session.
Screamer & Crate Stacking
Put on a harness, get clipped in, and be pulled up to swing from up to 40 feet on our giant swing, the Screamer! The next day try different strategies to stack plastic crates and climb on them as high as you can. Teamwork makes these elements possible as campers pull each other up the Screamer and support the crate stacker as a team. Girls must be rising 5th grade or older.
Sport-A-Day
Learn about and play a different sport each day. Basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer, ultimate football, and sprinkler kickball — just to name a few.
Stagecraft
The behind the scenes work that makes the Drama Show a success! Plan, organize and design the costumes, props and show board for the closing day performance. Girls must be rising 5th grade or older.
Stretch and Flex
This class will use yoga and affirmation techniques to help campers reflect and grow. Learn basic yoga positions and postures, breathing techniques, and ways to improve balance. We will focus on bettering ourselves from the inside out!
Synchronized Swimming (All levels, Two Week Class)
You’ll learn sculling, breath control and water ballet moves. You will also learn and practice a routine to perform during the end of session performance. (This class meets both weeks of 2-week sessions.)
Tennis
All levels welcome as you learn, practice, and perfect your tennis skills!
Ukulele 101
In this class girls will be taught ukulele basics while having fun. All levels of musicians are welcome! Ukuleles will be provided by RRR for the girls to learn and practice while here.
Mandatory Ropes Course
Ropes Course
All SIT 1's will participate together in a team-building low ropes course. This is not only a very fun experience, it is a vital part of cabin bonding and leadership development. We use the G.O.A.L program through Texas State University.
