Designed specifically for teen girls with an established foundation in horsemanship, our Discipleship Camp combines advanced horse experience, leadership development, service, and faith into one meaningful week at Shekinah Ranch.

Discipleship campers will deepen their horsemanship knowledge and skills while beginning the transition from student to leader. Alongside their own training, girls will learn how to assist Shekinah staff with novice riders during lessons, developing patience, responsibility, communication, and leadership skills along the way. Through daily devotions, mentorship, service, and worship, campers will also be challenged to deepen their faith and discover how God can use their individual gifts to lead and serve others.

Please note: Discipleship Camp is a specialized horsemanship and leadership program and is not simply the next level of traditional overnight camp. Campers must have completed a minimum of six months of riding lessons with a qualified instructor prior to attending and should arrive comfortable with basic horse handling, grooming, care, and tacking.

Girls who are still developing these foundational horsemanship skills are encouraged to join one of our Traditional Overnight Horse Camp sessions, where our instructors can meet them at their current riding level and help them continue to grow.
