Wake ART-thropods - CIT
Description
Chirping crickets, colorful butterflies, and delicate orb weavers - these creatures exhibit incredible beauty and creativity! We will explore the unique ways these organisms interact with their environment, and express what we’ve learned with colors, songs, costumes, stories, and more!

As a CIT, your role is to support the counselors, bring energy and excitement to the day, and keep an eye out for the needs of the campers.

You get to help create the same incredible camp experiences that you had as a camper, and get to be a model for them to learn from. When you’re a CIT, you get to make the magic of camp happen! Your age allows campers to be more comfortable around you, and you can provide insight that may not be immediately obvious to counselors; it is important to ask for feedback and to give your insight on campers/group dynamics. Being a CIT makes you a part of a legendary group of people who understand PWC like no other person does.

CITs (Counselors in Training) are required to attend Teen Outdoor Leadership Camp.

Drop off is at 8:00am. Pick up is at 3:30pm. For an additional $80, you can add aftercare to pick up between 3:30pm - 5:30pm.

If you are interested in being a CIT2 for this camp or if you have any questions or concerns about this session, please email ben@piedmontwildlifecenter.org.
