Bobcat (Grades 6–8)

For campers entering 6th–8th grade, Bobcat offers an exciting week of Overnight Summer Camp at Camp Loma Mar! A week of camp is full of adventure, fun, friendships, and an amazing staff leading the way. Nestled among the towering redwoods at the foot of the Santa Cruz Mountains, campers spend their days hiking, swimming, zip lining, scaling the rock wall, and participating in a wide variety of exciting camp activities.

The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down! Evenings are filled with campfires, songs, skits, games, and cabin activities. Campers enjoy themed days every Wednesday, delicious meals in our dining hall, and the classic overnight camp experience of living in cabins with their cabin group and counselors. Through new adventures, lasting friendships, and unforgettable memories, Camp Loma Mar is a place where campers grow, explore, and thrive.

Roundtrip \| Oakland Bus 2-for-1 Roundtrip from Oakland YMCA All campers including LITs, CAs and campers attending consecutive sessions, will return home for Friday and Saturday nights. For LITs, CAs & campers enrolled in consecutive sessions, free weekend bus transportation will be provided between sessions to and from the Oakland YMCA with the purchase of one round-trip bus (2026 only).	+ $150.00
Roundtrip \| EM Downer Bus 2-for-1 Roundtrip bus transportation from EM Downer YMCA All campers including LITs, CAs and campers attending consecutive sessions, will return home for Friday and Saturday nights.
