Friday: SK-2nd Storybook Ballet with CLD (Session 1)
Description
**Please plan on registering your SKer for one half hour of Ext day if you are signing up for this ASR** In this class run by professional ballet instructors from Chicago Loves Dance, students will learn beginning level ballet technique, stretches, balance activities and choreography. Each week will focus on reading a story and then putting it to life through dance! Dancers skip like fairies, leap like lions, or tiptoe like princes, using their imaginations to practice fundamental dance movements while reenacting the book of the week. Basic ballet and jazz dance techniques will be used in this fun dance/fairytale class. Ballet shoes preferred but not required to participate.
