MS Genre Screenwriting Tuesdays with Screenwriter Sophie Cohn
Description
This program will provide a space for students to learn how to become young filmmakers! Students will learn how to write a screenplay, what it takes to storyboard a film, how to set up their desired film shots, basic film editing procedures via iMovie, and learn filmmaking terminology.

Sophie Cohn is a screenwriter and director in Chicago. She received her MFA from Columbia College in Chicago, and works for the Chicago Festival of Israli Cinema. She wrote and directed 'The Good Brunch Movie', which was winner of Best Romantic Film at the Austin Short Film Festival in 2022.
