Tuesday: Creative Writing with Ms. Grubb (Session 3)
Description
If you are a reader, you are a writer. In this ASR, 3rd and 4th graders will move beyond the mechanics of writing to explore how storytelling can deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Each week brings a new prompt that sparks imagination, drawing inspiration from writers such as E.B. White, Jacqueline Woodson, Judy Blume, and Roald Dahl. From poetry to short fiction, students will develop their voices and begin to cultivate a love of creative writing. The ASR will conclude in a literary magazine showcasing the young writers' work.
