Fall Camp 2026 at Lower Chester
Description
Located at 1417 E 5th St, Duluth MN, 55812 Lower Chester offers the perfect blend of nature and city amenities. Campers will spend their days playing near Chester Creek, building forts, and exploring the park. They will also embark on field trips throughout Duluth.

Camp activities will be at Chester Bowl or within walking distance of the park. The day will start during parent drop off where campers can play games, draw, and hang out with other campers and staff. Camp officially starts at 9am when we expect all campers to have arrived and been checked in. The camp may play large group games such as 4 corners or tag or spend time playing in the park. At about 10am we will have a morning snack and encourage the campers to use the bathroom. After snack, the camp may split into groups and take part in different activities of the campers choosing. For example: one group may be doing arts & crafts, another playing kickball, and another fishing. At noon the camp will gather for lunch. After lunch the camp will take part in what we call “turtle time” which is a half hour of quiet time for the campers. Campers are encouraged to read, play board games, draw, or play quiet group games. After turtle time, the campers will split into their kinships and head to different areas of the park to build forts or take part in other activities. During this time campers will have the opportunity to have unstructured play time. At about 2pm the campers will eat an afternoon snack. The camp will come together for group games at about 3pm and continue playing games until parent pick up.
