Pedal Power: Beginner Team 2 classes are Mondays and Wednesdays, 6/1, 6/3, 6/8, and 6/10 from 5:00pm-5:45pm at Norte's Grand Traverse County Civic Center location

Pedal Power: Beginner is a great option for children who are transitioning for the first time to a pedal bike! If your rider has balance bike experience and is ready to attempt pedal bike riding, we’re here to help! In the beginner course, we walk children through “levels” for pedal bike riding success, including coasting on a balance bike, using a pedal bike like a balance bike, coasting while resting feet on pedals, and more to ease children into riding a pedal bike with confidence! Norte aims to empower children to be confident and independent cyclists through Pedal Power. This program best serves children in school aged programs like Jr. Kindergarten, Kindergarten, or 1st grade who are needing support to transition to a two wheeled pedal bike from a balance bike.
